Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a disc brake which can stabilize braking action and also can reduce occurrence of a noise during braking time.
CONSTITUTION: Width L in a rotor circumferential direction passed through the piston center of inner and outer frictional pads 16 is set to be 1.0-1.8 times of the diameter D of a piston, and distance in the rotor circumferential direction in a position passed through the piston center of a caliper claw by which the outer frictional pad 16 is brought in pressure contact with a rotor, is set to be 0.8-1.5 times of the diameter D of the piston.
