To provide a disc brush which prevents the coming-off of the bristles of the brush, because a bristle-of-brush mounting portion is not affected by heat, even if the bristles of the brush are heated by contact with a workpiece, when a surface of the workpiece continues to be rubbed hard by bringing the bristles of the brush into contact with the workpiece, while rotating the disc brush at a high speed.
This disc brush has a disc member 2 which keeps a plurality of insertion holes 6 provided at regular intervals along an outer edge and wheel portions 4 which are arranged on both sides of the disc member 2, respectively. A bent base 3b of a twofold tuft 3a of bristles of the brush is inserted into each of the insertion holes 6 of the disc member 2, and the wheel portions 4 are fixed on both sides of the disc member 2 in a compressed manner, respectively. Thus, the bristles 3 of the tuft 3a are partially elongated to the outside of the wheel portion 4, so as to form a brush portion 1a.
