Abstract:
To efficiently polish a wide area.SOLUTION: A funnel-shaped recess 11 is formed in a central part of a disk-like pad body 9, and its outer part is defined as a flat surface 10a. Projections 14 and 15 along the outer periphery are continuously or intermittently formed in the flat surface 10a. When a polishing disk 5 is overlapped on the pad body 9, a fastening member 7 is fastened to a driving shaft S of a grinder D facing shaft holes 11a and 13a in its center by screw bonding, and the central part of the polishing disk 5 is settled in the recess 11, the outer peripheral edge of the polishing disk 5 pressure-fitted to the projections 14 and 15 is higher than a highest height h of a rising part 5c formed with a bending force generated in a boundary portion between the recess 11 and the flat surface 10a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
