Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc-type steam trap capable of preventing excessive increase of internal stress of a bimetal ring.SOLUTION: A valve disc 11 is disposed in a pressure variation chamber 4 formed by inner and outer ring valve seats 6, 7 and a cover member 5, an ended bimetal ring 13 is disposed on a conical slant face portion 12, an annular plate 14 is disposed between the valve disc 11 and the bimetal ring 13, and air binding is eliminated by cooperation of the slant face portion 12 and an expanding/contracting action of the bimetal ring 13 due to temperature change. An outer wall 15 to which the bimetal ring 13 expanded at a high temperature is attached, is formed outside of the bimetal ring 13, a stopper portion 18 positioned at an upper portion with respect to a top face of the bimetal ring 13 at the high temperature for locking a lower face of the annular plate 14, is formed on the outer wall 15, and an inner diameter of the outer wall 15 is determined to a dimension according to a pressure at an inlet 2 side.
