Title:
DISCARDED BOMB MAGNETIC EXPLORATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005345077
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a discarded bomb magnetic exploration system capable of accurately specifying buried position by efficiently and safely identifying a discarded bomb buried at ocean bottom.

A magnetic exploration system has a magnetic detecting means, a recording means of detected magnetic data, an analyzing means of recorded magnetic data and a position detection means, records the detected magnetic data and position data in the recording means, identifies a discarded bomb by analyzing the magnetic data and specifies its position. The magnetic exploration system develops the recorded magnetic data on a two-dimension plane and displays them as a magnetic contour map and finds nearby positive pole and negative pole from the contour map and specifies that there is a discarded bomb around the negative pole and the positive pole. An angle of a magnetic anomaly body magnetizing direction and the terrestrial magnetism, a distance between the positive pole and the negative pole and diameter of a virtual iron sphere having magnetization as large as magnetic moment around the positive pole and the negative pole are used as identification references.
