To provide a discharge container which discharges a desired amount of contents when one adjusted discharge operation with a press button is carried out, provides high contents storage efficiency, and is simple and inexpensive.

The discharge container includes: a bottomed cylindrical container body 1 storing the contents N; a piston member 10 which has a shaft tube 14 erected at its center, the shaft tube 14 having a passage 15 bored for allowing the contents N to pass therethrough, and slides along the inner peripheral wall 2 of the container body 1; a press button 25 which is fitted integrally on the top of the piston member 10 and has a delivery opening 26 communicating with the passage 15; and a shoulder cover 40 which is fitted on the mouth 3 of the container body 1 to make the piston member 10 incapable of slipping out of the container body 1. As the piston member 10 is lowered, the contents N are delivered from the delivery opening 26. It is preferable that the piston member 10 is composed of a first slidable cylinder 20 sliding along the inner peripheral wall 2 of the container body 1, and a second slidable cylinder 22 which is slidable along the inner peripheral wall 20a of the first slidable cylinder 20 and is incorporated to be incapable of slipping out, so that the piston member 10 is expanded and contracted.
