To resolve problems wherein, in a conventional discharge crushing method using a coaxial electrode device as an electrode device, discharge is performed at one point at one time, requiring many times of discharge work, thus causing poor work efficiency.

In this discharge crushing method, discharge parts 30 of an electrode device 3 and a pressure transmitting medium surrounding the discharge parts are provided on mutually facing faces 5, 6 of a crushing object (concrete plate 4). The crushing object is crushed by discharging by applying voltage to the electrodes of the discharge parts with the discharge parts and pressure transmitting medium coated with a coating material.
