Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device capable of suppressing decrease of the maximum loading capacity of a sheet while suppressing expansion of an intra-cylinder space.SOLUTION: The discharge device includes a first discharge roller pair, a first discharge tray, a second discharge roller pair 3b and a second discharge tray 5b. The first discharge tray is arranged below the first discharge roller pair in the intra-cylinder space. The second discharge roller pair 3b is arranged above the first discharge roller pair. The second discharge tray 5b is arranged above the first discharge roller pair and below the second discharge roller pair 3b so as to face the first discharge tray in the intra-cylinder space. The second discharge tray 5b contains a plane part 11 and a curved part 13. The curved part 13 has a circular arc shape curved so as to project upward. An apex of the curved part 13 corresponds to a center of a sheet conveyance passage in the sheet width direction A.
