Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device capable of preventing a phase shift in the operation of each mechanism and performing a reliable discharge operation.SOLUTION: A discharge device 1 includes two article storage sections 34 and 36, two extraction mechanisms 20 for taking out the articles P stored in the article storage sections 34 and 36 one by one, and a drive mechanism 22 for selectively driving one of the extraction mechanisms 20. The drive mechanism 22 includes a Geneva mechanism comprising one drive wheel 84 with engagement pins 92 and two driven wheels 86 with slots 98. For the driving wheel 84 and one of the driven wheels 86, the engagement pins 92 are engaged with the slots 98 when the driving wheel 84 rotates in one direction, whereas the engagement pins 92 are not engaged with the slots 98 when the driving wheel 84 rotates in the other direction. For the driving wheel 84 and the other one of the driven wheels 86, the engagement pins 92 are engaged with the slots 98 when the driving wheel 84 rotates in the other direction, whereas the engagement pins 92 are not engaged with the slots 98 when the driving wheel 84 rotates in the one direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
