Abstract:
To suppress generation of wrinkles in a recording medium.SOLUTION: A discharge device includes: a discharge part for discharging a droplet to one surface of a recording medium to be transported; a first drying part for drying the droplet by imparting light energy to the one surface in a non-contact manner; and a second drying part for coming into contact with only the other surface of the recording medium of which droplet has been dried by the first drying part and drying the recording medium by heating the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
