To provide a discharge filter capable of easily removing and regenerating a combustible substance such as the deposited particulate.
This discharge filter comprises a filter case 10 having a gas inlet 11 introducing the exhaust gas 8 and a gas outlet 12 leading the purified exhaust gas 8, and a plurality of trapping bodies 2 which are disposed so as to be across the flowing direction of the exhaust gas 8 in the filter case 10 and brought into contact with the exhaust gas 8 to trap the combustible substance. The trapping bodies 2 have at least a pair of electrodes disposed on a surface thereof with a predetermined interval therebetween, and burn and remove the combustible substance by achieving the short circuit or discharge between the electrodes by the combustible substance deposited on the surface of the trapped bodies 2.
