To provide a discharge lamp lighting device which can light a plurality of discharge lamps in uniform brightness.
With a main inverter circuit INV1, an oscillating circuit OS1 has a transformer T as a part of the oscillating elements, and continues self-excited oscillation by signals fed back to the input through a feedback coil N13, and supplies an alternating voltage generated in a secondary winding N12 to terminal pairs T11, T12 for connecting with the discharge lamp. An oscillating circuit OS2 of an inverter circuit INV2 has the feedback winding N13 as a part of the oscillating elements, and continues oscillating by signals supplied to the input through the feedback winding N13 of the transformer T1 equipped in the main inverter circuit INV1, and supplies an alternating voltage generated in a secondary winding N22 of a transforming 2 to the terminal paris T21, T22 for connecting with the discharge lamp.
