Abstract:

To provide a discharge part structure of a rotary hearth furnace capable of facilitating replacement of a discharge screw, and eliminating a need for an additional space.

The discharge part structure of the rotary hearth furnace for discharging a reduced iron agglomerated product manufactured by heating and reducing an iron oxide agglomerated product containing reducer on a rotary hearth to an outside of the furnace is characterized by that a distance between a ceiling of the discharge part and the hearth is shorter than a distance between a ceiling of a furnace chamber and the hearth. It is preferable that an opening across an inner wall to an outer wall of the rotary hearth furnace is provided on the ceiling of the discharge part, a discharge screw is placed in or below the opening, and on the hearth, a cover for covering an upper part of the discharge screw is provided on the opening, and a water-cooled pipe is provided therein.
