PURPOSE: To provide a discharge recording sheet capable of stably forming a sharp, accurate and detailed image excellent in chemical resistance even in the presence of chemicals.
CONSTITUTION: In a discharge recording sheet constituted of a base sheet 1, a metal membrane 2 and a transparent resin layer 4 and forming an image by the destruction of the metal membrane 2 by the discharge between a needle electrode arranged in close vicinity to the sheet and the metal membrane 4, a chelating agent layer 3 chelating the metal membrane 2 such as gallic ester is provided between the metal membrane 2 and the transparent resin layer 4. Since the chemical resistance of the discharge recording sheet is enhanced because the surface of the metal membrane 2 is chelated, a sharp, accurate and detailed image can be stably formed even in the presence of chemicals and the deterioration of the formed image with the elapse of time is hard to generate.
