Abstract:

To provide a discharge resistor integrated capacitor which is free from the risk of being creased, excellent in heat radiation performance, and has no risk of being deteriorated in capacitor performance.

A discharge resistor integrated capacitor 10 comprises: a capacitor formed by cylindrically winding thin films having an insulation part and an electrode deposition part; and a discharge resistor part in which a P-pole and an N-pole of the capacitor are connected to each other via a resistance material. In the discharge resistor integrated capacitor, resistance films 14 and 24 are formed in the insulation part. The resistance films 14 and 24 are formed over the entire periphery on one end of the thin films so as to prevent the generation of creases. Further, the resistance films 14 and 24 are formed close to the P-pole and the N-pole, and the discharge resistor part is not provided near the central part in the axial direction. Consequently, generated heat is radiated from the P-pole and the N-pole (metallikon electrodes 15 and 25) to prevent the resistance films 14 and 24 from reaching a high temperature, thereby eliminating the risk that the performance of capacitor 10 is deteriorated.
