PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of vibration by stably supporting an effluence tube by a method in which the effluence tube is horizontally projected into a stilling pool and fixed, and a cone is attached to the side wall of the pool by positioning it on the front of the effluence tube.
CONSTITUTION: A stilling pool 2 is formed in a structure 1, an effluence tube 11 is horizontally projected from the side of a driver chamber 4 into the pool 2, and the tip of the tube 11 is fixed through a connector 13 to the side wall 20. A sleeve tube 16 is slidably fitted on the tip of the tube 11 and a cone 14 is attached to the wall 20 by positioning it on the front. The tube 16 is moved back and forth through a drive shaft 18a, and water in a dam is discharged while regulating the flow of water. Since the tube 11 is supported on back and front sides, the occurrence of vibration by the pressures of effluent water stream in the tube 11 can be prevented.
