Abstract:

To prevent a discharged sheet stacking tray from being applied to a peripheral member when the member is moved.

A sheet post-processing device 300 is provided with a discharged sheet stacking tray 325 displaceably provided on a casing part 300A on which sheets S discharged from the casing part 300A are stacked, and a holding part 511 to hold the discharged sheet stacking tray 325 at a first position and a second position above the first position. The discharged sheet stacking tray 325 is composed to stack the sheets S at the first position. The sheet post- processing device is incorporated in a printer 101, and a cartridge K in the printer 101 is replaced, with a cartridge cover 510 opened, when the discharged sheet stacking tray 325 can be retracted to the second position by a user to replace the cartridge K.
