Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a toner recovering device for an image forming device where toner is prevented from dropping because an opening/closing member is automatically closed when a discharged toner container is detached from a carrying pipe, the discharge of the toner is not restrained because the opening/closing member is automatically opened when the carrying pipe is coupled with the discharged toner container, and there is no possibility that toner blocking is caused at the opening/closing member even when the image forming device is started to be actuated in such a state.
CONSTITUTION: The carrying pipe 5 being a discharged toner carrying means for recovering discharged toner, which is removed from the surface of a photosensitive body by a cleaning means 1 after a latent image is formed on the electrostatically charged photosensitive body, visualized and transferred on paper, in the discharged toner container 2 is provided with a coupling member 11 which moves between a position where the pipe 5 is coupled with the container 2 and a position where it is separated therefrom, and the opening/closing member for opening/closing the toner exit 17 of the pipe 5; and the container 2 is provided with an actuating part which closes the exit 17 by the opening/closing member in the case of separating the member 11 from the container 2 and opens the exit 17 by the opening/closing member in the case of coupling the pipe 5 with the container 2.
