PURPOSE: To provide a disconnecting device which has a simple structure, high safety and improved reliability by providing an actuator provided on a connecting path member with a connecting member and an elastic separating means, and in the case of locking using a locking member, disengaging the locking member from a lock releasing member using a movable push-moving member to operate the disconnecting device only on the side of the first connecting object.
CONSTITUTION: When the disconnecting actuator 4 of the first vehicle 2 is stretched, the connecting member 5 of a push-moving section 4a pushingly moves a top part 1a toward the second vehicle 3 through the recess of the connecting member 6 of a hood 1 to press the hood 1 toward the connected part 3a of the vehicle 3 against the elastic separating force of draining elastic seal members 7, 8. The locking member 11 of the connected part 3a is simultaneously pushedly moved toward a top part 1a to engage with a locking member 12. The releasing actuator 4 is then housed in each housing section 65. In this case, a movable push-moving member 14 is provided for making the push-moving part 4a of a releasing actuator 4 interfere with a lock releasing member 13 being at a passive position at the time of forward moving toward the vehicle 3 to pushingly move it to its functioning position and to drive it back to a noninterfering position at the time of backward moving.
