To provide a disconnecting device for a gas insulated switchgear, which has a disconnector and a grounding switch integrated with each other and allows relatively easy pre-operation test.

The disconnecting device for the gas insulated switchgear uses a movable contact 10 for bridging a disconnector fixed contact 8 and a disconnector center side fixed contact 6 to each other. Herein, a grounding switch contact 12 is provided for grounding the movable contact 10 cut off the disconnector fixed contact 8 while keeping on contacting the disconnector center side fixed contact 6, and a testing terminal contact 22 is provided on the side of the disconnector fixed contact 8 opposite to the disconnector center side fixed contact 6 to abut on the movable contact 10 while bridging both fixed contacts 6, 8 to each other. The disconnector and the grounding switch are constructed to be integrated with each other for allowing voltage applying test or continuity test through the testing terminal contact 22.
