PURPOSE: To quickly and surely obtain data for discrimination and recordings such as ranking at each corner, by using a television camera in which still pictures can sharply be reproduced after video recording and centralizingly operating a required number of cameras from a control room.
CONSTITUTION: A television camera 4 is installed at corners C1∼C4 of a horse race course, and tripod heads 1 are controlled with controllers 5∼8 in a control room A to turn the television cameras left and right and to control them horizontally for horizontal direction, or the camera angle is adjusted up and down. The start and stop of the television cameras 4 is done with other controllers 9∼12, and write and time display of characters and figures required on a screen and the switching of the cameras 4 are done at any time. The required information is collected and monitored in the control room A, and transmitted to a television receiver TV and a video recorder VD of a judgement room B for the data for personnel judging.
