Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the discrimination feedback type equalizer coping with a high transmission speed and whose tap number does not influence on the operating speed.
CONSTITUTION: First and 2nd shift registers 5, 6 are inserted among 1st - 3rd adders 1-3, a discriminator output of a final tap is delayed by one bit by a 3rd shift register 7 and it is inputted simultaneously to multipliers 8-10 of each tap. The multipliers 8-10 make multiplication with tap coefficients C1-C3 respectively and input the result to correspondent adders 1-3 respectively. Thus, it is enough for the adders 1-3 to execute one addition within one bit and then high speed operation is realized.
