Title:
DISCRIMINATION MARKER OF ES CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006042663
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a gene capable of being used as a marker for discriminating whether embryonic stem cells are present or not and undifferentiated cells have pluripotency or undifferentiating property, or not, in certain cells.

This method for producing a protein expressed in an undifferentiated state more accurately than conventional methods in the case of having pluripotency as Psbp gene, and therefore the method for producing a marker capable of discriminating the embryonic stem cells from embryonic tumor cells comprises (A) a process of providing a component originated from the cells; (B) a process of selecting the cells giving the component exhibiting a super shift on using an Oct4 specific factor, but without exhibiting the super shift on using a Sox2 specific factor by subjecting the component under a gel shift assay; and (C) a process of taking out the Oct4 specific factor specific complex from the cells selected in the (B) process.
