Title:
DISCRIMINATION METHOD FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3633675
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a discrimination method in which a stored registration pattern is compared easily by using a laser displacement meter which does not require an illumination method peculiar to an object in conventional cases, and processing three-dimensional data on an object and displaying an image representation simply in order to discriminate the three-dimensional shape on the surface of a throwaway chip or the like.
SOLUTION: Three-dimensional data on a object 2 obtained by using a laser displacement meter 1 is analyzed by a data processor 4, the three-dimensional data is changed into a gray level image by an image processor board 5, gray level data are processed, and only data in the height direction, which expresses the feature of the object best is selected, other data are masked so as to be changed into images, the data is input to an exclusive image processor 7, and a pattern is registered and discriminated.
