To provide a plant with disease-resistance transformed so as to cause appropriate defense reaction, and also to provide a method for creating the plant.

This method for creating a disease-resistant plant comprises using a promoter capable of expressing gene structurally, derivatively and organ specifically or time specifically and an expression cassette containing gene coding for elicitor protein controlled by the promoter.
