Abstract:
To provide a simple mechanism which can automatically perform the fastening and release of a gas supply pipe joint on assumption that a coupler which is described in the Patent Literature 1 is used for the fastening and release of the gas supply pipe joint.SOLUTION: A fastening/release mechanism 10 of a gas supply pipe coupler is composed of a plug 18 arranged at a melting pot 11 which ascends and descends by a crane, and attached to a starting end part hose 15 of a pot gas supply pipe 14 for supplying a gas into a molten metal in the melting pot 11, and a socket 19 arranged at a placing table 12 on which the melting pot 11 is placed, and attached to a terminal end part hose 17 of a placing table gas supply pipe 16 connected to the pot gas supply pipe 14. The plug 18 is arranged downward, the socket 19 is arranged upward in a lower part of the plug 18, and a wire rod 21 connected, at both ends, to a sleeve 20 which is externally fit to the socket 19 and slides on the socket 19, is wound to one or more wire rod guides 22 which are arranged below the socket 19, thus forming a closed loop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
