Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dry dishes in a short time by a method wherein a blowoff port of an air delivery device is arranged near a rear wall of a drying chamber so as to let delivered air move along the rear wall while an upper stage rack is placed in front of the blowoff port and an exhaust port is provided at a front upper part of the drying chamber. CONSTITUTION: Air is supplied to a heater 30 through a heater case 31 from a delivery part 32 and turned to hot air by heat to be delivered to a drying chamber 21 at a blowoff port 35. As the blowoff port 35 is near the rear wall 18 and an upper stage rack 26 is located before the blowoff port 35, the delivered hot air can move along the rear wall 18 without being disturbed by the upper stage rack 26 and sufficiently pervades a lower stage rack 27. The hot air passing through the lower stage rack 27 is discharged outside from a ventilation window through the upper stage rack 26 and an exhaust duct 40 provided at a front upper part of the drying chamber 21. Thus, after flowing sufficiently downward, the hot air ascends to the exhaust duct 40 provided on the upper front side of the drying chamber thereby achieving a drying in a short time and efficiently.
