Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish towel free from accumulating offensive odor caused by repeated use, and having less strength degradation and dimensional change.SOLUTION: A dish towel uses two-layer structure spinning yarn having a core-sheath structure. The dish towel is so formed that a sheath part of the spinning yarn contains a modified cellulose fiber made by introducing a carboxyl group by graft polymerization, and carrying metals, metal compounds or metal ions on the carboxyl group, and a core part is formed of a thermoplastic synthetic short fiber having a strength of equal to or more than 2.5 cN/dtex.
