Abstract:
To provide a dishwasher which can save energy when an amount of grease on dishes is relatively small and can operate in a more appropriate condition for recognition by a user on the amount of grease on dishes.
The amount of grease on dishes 7 is judged in at least two levels on the basis of the turbidity of washing water detected by a washing water turbidity detection means 22. According to the level of the amount of grease, washing conditions are adjusted and the threshold values for judging the amount of grease on dishes 7 can be changed by a user. Accordingly, a dish washer which can save more energy and can operate in a more appropriate condition for recognition by a user on the amount of grease on dishes 7 can be realized.
