Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher in which wash water does not rush out of a washing tank to outside of a housing when the washing tank is drawn out while driving even if there is not a handle switch in a front surface, and which is user-friendly and superior in design.SOLUTION: A dishwasher comprises: an inner cap 32 blocking up an upper opening 31 when a washing tank 20 is contained in a housing 17; a storing switch 20a detecting a housing state of the washing tank 20; a washing nozzle 28 jetting wash water inside of the washing tank 20; and a shield plate 35 covering a part of the upper opening 31. The shield plate 35 is located in a door body 21 side at least in an early stage when the washing tank 20 is drawn out, and shuts off the wash water rushing out of the washing tank 20 to outside of the housing 17.
