Abstract:
To provide a disinfection composition manifesting improved safety on a treated surface even in highly diluted conditions, and to provide a method for disinfecting the surface by the disinfecting composition.
The disinfecting composition comprises hydrogen peroxide of 0.1 %-15 % by weight based on the total composition, and an antimicrobial essential oil or mixtures thereof. According to the invention the disinfecting composition for disinfecting various surfaces including surface of animate matters such as the skin, the mouth, inorganic matters such as a wall, a tile, a tabletop, a glass, surface of a bathroom, kitchen or dishes, is obtained.
