Abstract:
To provide a disk brake device 1 used for a vehicle, etc., equipped with a pair of pads 71, 72 disposed so as to clamp a disk rotor 2 rotating with a wheel from both sides, and a supporting body 4 for slidably supporting both the pads 71, 72 in an axial direction of the disk rotor 2 via a retainer 6, which brakes by pressing both the pads 71, 72 against the side surface of the disk rotor 2, while preventing brake dust from scattering.
A covering part 6a is provided in the retainer 6 to cover the diametrically outer side of both the pads 71, 72 and the disk rotor 2.
