Title:
DISK BRAKE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5686237
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To unify a plane contact to a brake disk of a pair of friction pads by a constitution wherein in corresponding to a relative position variation generated in arrangement of a caliper and a brake disk, the caliper can be inclined to a fixed member during the braking time. CONSTITUTION:A pair of friction pads 19 arranged at the both sides of a brake disk 32 to be coupled to a axle side are pressed to the brake disk 32 with a caliper 1 provided with a driving unit in an one body. At this time, a pair of bracket 1a, 1b protruding upward are provided at the both sides of the caliper 1 and each guide pin 2 is held between brackets 1a and 1b. And the central part of the guide pin 2 is positioned to a bearing part 6 of a fixed member 10 to be fixed to a car body so as to be able to slide. And further, in order that the caliper 1 can slide against the fixed member 10 and can incline slightly upward and downward, an elastic sleeve 11 and a spherical surface bearing 14 (at the right bearing part 6 side) and an elastic sleeve 7 (at the left bearing part 6 side) are positioned, respectively, between the pin 2 and the bearing part 6.
