Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily recorgnize the contents of a disk by displaying the characters of the disk such as title as for a disk data reproducing device such as a compact disk player. CONSTITUTION:With a key operation at a key input part 4, the characters of a disk title is preliminarily written in a stand-by RAM 62 along with disk discrimination data. The disk discrimination data read out of the disk is compared with that stored in the stand-by RAM 62 and when the same disk discrimination data are found in the stand-by RAM 62, the title character data stored corresponding to the disk discrimination data are read out and the title characters are displayed on a title display part 32 of a display part 3.
