Abstract:
To provide a disk device capable of further reducing the disc change time.
The disk device includes a carrier that holds plural piled up discs in a piled-up state, supplies the held plural discs to each of plural disc drives, and recovers the supplied plural discs in a piled-up state. The carrier is arranged to hold a pile of first plural discs 100A recovered from the plural disc drive and a pile of second plural discs to be subsequently supplied to the plural disc drives.
