Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device excellent in reliability by suppressing infiltration of particles into a disk storage space.SOLUTION: A disk drive device includes: a fluid dynamic pressure bearing mechanism; a rotor including a hub supported in a first direction side of the fluid dynamic pressure bearing mechanism in an axial direction; and a stationary body including a base for fixedly supporting a second direction side opposite to the first direction of a fluid bearing mechanism. The fluid bearing mechanism includes an external peripheral surface facing the inner peripheral surface of a bearing hole provided in the base and an external peripheral surface facing a radiation direction; and a seal member formed with an adhesive belt circumferentially and continuously interposed with an adhesive in a gap in the radial direction between the inner peripheral surface and the external peripheral surface, which is a seal portion retreated in the radial direction at least either to the inner peripheral surface or the external peripheral surface, its first direction end being positioned at a first direction side more inside than the edge of the first direction side of the adhesive belt, and at least its second direction end being positioned in a second direction end further than the edge of the first direction side of the adhesive belt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
