Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure head loading/unloading.
SOLUTION: The disk drive includes a hard disk and an actuator assembly to position a head on the surface over the disk provided with an actuator arm which supports the head on a tip part and is turnable around an arm pivot. The disk drive is provided with a cam following part provided on the actuator arm in order to perform the head loading/unloading relative to the disk, and the cam surface assembly engaging with the cam following part. The cam surface assembly is provided with the cam surface slanting part which increases heights from a disk surface in a direction separating from the center of the disk, and on which the cam following part runs when the head performs unloading.
