Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a 3.5" disk driving device possible to be attached to a 5.25" disk driving device, and also to enable a positive pneumatic pressure to be supplied to the device by attaching thereto a specified bracket provided with a cooling device.
CONSTITUTION: The attaching bracket 20 having specified dimensions is attached into a slot 12 for the 5.25" shape factor disk driving device of a microcomputer housing case. The attaching bracket 20 is provided with a frame (frame body), air duct 26, filter element, fan 28 and connection means. By this constitution, the driving device for the optical disk of 3.5" shape factor is attached into the slot 12 for 5.25" disk, and also the clean cooling air of positive pressure is supplied to the driving device.
