Abstract:
PURPOSE: To write/read out information recorded at a CLV by a driving means rotated at an approximately fixed rotational speed.
CONSTITUTION: A disk driving device is constituted by being provided with an optical head 4 having an objective lens 5 reading out the information of a disk D recorded by the CLV such as a CD-ROM, for example, and/or recording the information on the disk D, a driving rotor 1 rotatably formed near the head 4 and set so as to abut on one part of the disk D and the driving means driving the rotor 1 to be rotated at the almost fixed revolving speed. Besides, the rotor 1 is constituted so that it can be attached and detached with respect to the disk D by an elevating/lowering means.
