Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a disc grinder of an enhanced performance which can maintain the polishing performance satisfactorily for a long time by effectively utilizing fibers containing inorganic polish grains.
CONSTITUTION: A disc grinder has a polishing layer 3 formed by coagulatively binding rod-shaped particles 5 containing inorganic polish grains 4 with the aid of a binder 6, and this polishing layer 3 is adhered to the surface of the disc element 1 using am adhesive 4. Thus the disc grinder is completed, wherein the rod-shaped particles 5-7-7 exert the polishing action.
