Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable secure recording/reproduction through a plurality of data areas on a disk by dividing a series of record data.
SOLUTION: A system controller 7 carries out memory control so as to write inputted continuous record data units onto a memory 14 and read data from the memory 14 in a burst-like manner, and controls a recording position so as to continuously record the record data read from the memory 14 in the burst-like manner under the memory control, onto a recording track of a magneto-optical disk 2. Continuous recording is compensated for by the difference between the write transfer rate and the read transfer rate of the record data to and from the memory 14.
