Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device which is capable of simultaneously reproducing plural disks.
SOLUTION: According to this disk reproducing device and disk reproducing method, the signals for the time component corresponding to the sum of the time required for moving a head to the second disk before the reproduction of signals for the prescribed time component by first reproducing means is completed and for reading out the signals for the prescribed time component from the first disk and the time required for moving the head to the first disk after the completion of the reading out of the second disk and for starting the reading out of the first disk are read out and therefore the signals of the first and second disks can be simultaneously and continuously reproduced.
