Abstract:
PURPOSE:To record and reproduce information groups of different signal processing systems such as sound information, video information, and digital data, etc., on one disk. CONSTITUTION:A data area 2 on which the information groups of different signal processing systems such as sound, video, etc., are recorded is provided at the disks 1a, 1b which perform the recording/reproduction of information, respectively. Furthermore, a disk control area 3 incorporating a decode program is provided at the disk 1 to reproduce those information groups. In the reproduction, the disk control area 3 on the disk 1 is scanned first, and the decode programs of the sound information and the video information, etc., recorded on the data area 2 are read. Thence, the information in the data area is reproduced, and the information in the disk is read out based on a read out decode program.
