Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit configuration and a design and to largely set a reduced gain of a servo control signal and to stabilize a servo by the control using a proportional value, a derivative value and an integral value by software for a servo control system. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal from an optical head 3 is supplied to an RF amplifier 6, and extracted RF signal, focus error signal FE and tracking error signal TE are inputted to a servo control signal generating part 20. Then, it is converted into digital data by an A/D converter 21, and is supplied to a DSP 30, where prescribed calculation processing is performed by a signal from a CPU 10, and each servo control data is generated from an obtained PID term, and after pulse modulation, the data is band-limited by filters 12-14 and amplified by a servo driving amplifier 15. This data is inputted to a focus coil 16, a tracking coil 17 and a thread motor 18 respectively, and a biaxial mechanism 4 and a thread mechanism 5 are driven to perform a servo control. By this method, the circuit configuration is simplified, and the servo operation can stably be performed.
