Title:
DISK REPRODUCING SIGNAL EQUALIZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07111038
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform optimum equalizing process for a regenerative signal whose highest frequency is changed according to a position of a track.

CONSTITUTION: By a disk reproducing signal equalizer 7, the regenerative signal S1 is received from an optical head 3 of a disk recording/reproducing device of a CWL-CAV system, and track position information P1 is received from a track position detector 5, and the equalizing process is performed for the regenerative signal S1. Delay times τa, τb, τc of three sets of delay circuits (72a, 73a), (72b, 73b), (72c, 73c) are set respectively so that optimum equalizing characteristics are obtained for the highest frequencies of the regenerative signals on respective areas of three track areas divided on the optical disk 1. By a switch control circuit 77, selection circuits 74, 75, 76 are controlled according to the track position information P1, and one of three sets of delay circuits is selected. By a differential amplifier circuit 78, the outputs of the selection circuits 74, 75, 76 are received to be outputted as the regenerative signal S3 performed by the prescribed equalizing process.
