Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk type steam trap capable of easily and accurately detecting an operation state.SOLUTION: A disk type steam trap 100 has an internal electrode part 131 on an inner surface of an inner lid 13, and an external electrode part 133 on an outer surface of a trap body 1. When a valve disk 115 is brought into contact with a center protrusion of the inner lid 13 in parallel, that is, when the valve disk 115 opens a discharge passage, a first internal electrode 131ac and a second internal electrode 131bc are electrically connected through the valve disk 115. When the valve disk 115 is not brought into contact with the inner lid 13, that is, mainly when the valve disk 115 is positioned along a surface of a valve seat 5 and closes the discharge passage, the first internal electrode 131ac and the second internal electrode 131bc are not electrically connected with each other. In the disk type steam trap 100, an operation state of the valve disk 115 can be easily and accurately acquired as an electrical signal through the external electrode part 133 depending on presence/absence of the electrical connection.
