To make large the unbalanced amount of a disk for a vehicle wheel and lessen wastefulness of materials in manufacturing.
A disk for a vehicle wheel has a cup-shaped peripheral edge including a reference edge part 23 positioned approximately on a genuine circle centering on the disk axis and a first edge 24 and a second edge 26 continued to the reference edge part 23 and confronting each other in the radial direction. In the form of a disk material before a drawing process the edges 24 and 26 have equal linear shape and are protruding toward a pair of virtual straight line parts having the same length and parallel to each other. When it is assumed that the virtual straight line parts make deformation in the drawing process and become comparative concave curved lines C continued to the two ends of the edges 24 and 26, the decrement in weight corresponding to the area surrounded by the edge 24 and the comparative concave curved line C is equal to the increment in weight corresponding to the area surrounded by the edge 26 and the comparative concave curved lines C. The edge 24 is arranged to be identical to an air valve, and the reference edge part 23 is welded to the inside circumference of rims.
