Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dismantle a used cartridge type filter element and easily recover metal parts and the other parts in classification.
SOLUTION: This dismantling device for a filter element comprises a screw member 21 with an externally threaded portion 23 designed for threaded engagement with a mounting threaded portion formed on the inner wall of a central opening in a socket plate of a cartridge type filter element, a table 31 rotatably connected and fixed to the screw member 21 to hold the socket plate end of the filter element fixedly abutting thereon, and a cutting edge 41 movable onto and away from a casing wall of the filter element fixed on the table and rotated. The screw member 21 is detachable and replaceable with others of different sizes. The screw member 21 and the table 31 are connected and fixed when the screw member 21 is threaded on a rotary shaft 11 located on the axis of the screw member.
