Abstract:

To provide a button in which troublesomeness of unbuttoning is eliminated, which can be easily and securely buttoned or unbottoned even by an infant, an aged person, or a disabled person, and in which disordered buttoning can be prevented.

Buttons 1a-5a are installed on a first cloth 10a, and buttons 1b-5b are installed on a second cloth 10b. For example, the button 1a comprises a first base seat comprising magnetic material and having a first recess, and an N-pole magnet of such a form that can be engaged in the first recess. The button 1b comprises a second base seat comprising magnetic material and having a second recess, and an S-pole magnet of such a form that can be engaged in the second recess. The buttons 1a-5a are arranged in the order of N, S, N, S and N, while the buttons 1b-5b are arranged in the order of S, N, S, N and S.
