To promptly perform dispensation work in a dispensation apparatus for an accurate dispensation amount corresponding to a downward stroke of a piston without being affected by air which is sucked up together with a liquid during suction of the piston.

A dispensation apparatus comprises a dispensation head, a piston and suction means. The dispensation head includes a dispensation cylinder which extends downward from a cylinder body with an internal space formed cylindrical and has a diameter smaller than that of the internal space. The piston is inserted from the internal space of the cylinder body into the dispensation cylinder and is movable vertically to a start position above the dispensation cylinder and a dispensation completion position below the dispensation cylinder. The suction means sucks a liquid from a drip port in a distal end of the dispensation cylinder into the internal space and locates the start position which is above the dispensation cylinder, under a liquid level. The piston faces the start position under the liquid level at initial dispensation operation.
